This should relieve some of the Mystery! The Comic Idea is basically about Magic Users and the world they live in, about how they fit into Society and the various professions they take. Through the lens of Students being taught such things.
It'll likely mainly be about exploring how their magic works as well as how it goes against other elemental types. About Rogue Magi and the problems they cause for Society.
Now, to wonder whether to make this Comic a Solo or Author comic.
Anyone interested in it?

Oh, and here's some Character information, I guess.
New guessing game! Can you guess what half the fancy words for their Magic types mean?

@Wolfry: What about Pyrokinesis?

Used by that King of Fighter major character, Ryu something.

Also a first recorded use of the word "pyrokinesis" was used by Stephen King.

Reply Fusion Kirby, August 25th, 2013, 5:52 pm

@Omega001: Pyrokinesis is for Fire.

Aquakinesis is Water Magic, Wolfry nailed three, And the last I know of is Necromancy, Magic of the Undead.

Don't forget Chronokinesis.

Reply Argent Transire, August 25th, 2013, 6:03 pm

@Wolfry: A Kinesis is a form of innate or learned Control over something using your mind though the medium of physical movement. Meaning "Kinetic" control.
Cryo is control over ice, or negative temperature changes, Geo being control over Dirt and possibly just plain "Whatever you're standing on", aero being wind.
So, while the medium was different, you got three right.

@Omega001: Pyrokinesis is actually pretty common.

@Fusion Kirby: Mancy is a common term for Magic usage, Kinesis isn't a form of magic, see above. You do get points for Aqua, though, that being (i think) Latin for water. Also indeed, Necromancy is precedence over the Dead, Necrosis being the degradation of rotting flesh.

@aqua the hedgie: Chronokinesis is kinda odd, I mean, how the hell does one control Time using their mind? Though I can see how it'd be done using Magic.

To all: The principal difference between a Kinesis and a Mancy is that Magic is more instinctual and uses more methods than a Kinesis, which generally requires the person to posses at least some other forms of Psychic powers.

@Argent Transire: The way that it would work is you would alter your own personal perception of time, allowing you to travel faster or slower, and if you're good enough, forward and backward and maybe even freezing it.

@aqua the hedgie: I've done that before with characters.
Only with them, it was them moving so fast they altered relativity.
Similar to the theory of time dilating as you moved close to Light speed.
Though time magic/control is a lot more complex than people give it credit for.

@Argent Transire: oh i have a character who is similar. her name is yuki and can use plants and the earth to attack, though its not more magic as it is her hearing the planet's pain and her being able to summon things like plants and giant boulders to stop the pain by destroying factories and stuff

Reply Argent Transire, August 25th, 2013, 9:55 pm

@Draven22: Ah, so that's closer to what a Kinesis is like.
She sounds like what Eco-maniacs wish they had!
We should trade notes on plant powers.

Reply Draven22, August 25th, 2013, 9:57 pm

@Argent Transire: well its not kenesis cause boulders usually don't show up around power plants....or plants for that matter, and shes been able to do it from when she was young, and sure

Bottom left guy looks very similar to Paul, if not just barely an edit from him, lol.
